Urban Gardening UPDATE!

Aloha! so Grow Memphis is starting Monday nights from 5-7 and Carl Awsumb, an architect and one of the founders of McMerton Garden (where I go) just watched the TEDtalk about the guerrilla gardener in LA that one of you posted (Kate? sorry) and so he wants to talk all about median strip planting because they were very successful with some yams last year. So yeah you are all welcome anytime, but lemme know if you ever want to meet with Carl-who is exceptionally cool. He is also working on a project to help get books in the languages of the kids of the neighborhoods through tiny lending libraries-please come on by any monday or saturday.
